D-PREP Celebrates Father’s Day

Being a father and standing as the male role model of the family is not easy. In honor of all fathers, D-PREP International School Bangna held a celebration last December 2.

To accommodate all the parents entering the school, the event was divided into two sections: The morning session was composed of parents and students from grades 2-8, and the afternoon session with the nursery to grade 1 students and parents.

The father’s day ceremony opened with the Thai Royal Anthem in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, followed by a welcome speech from Ms. Lady and Mr. Bob.

Next, student representatives read their father’s day essays. This was followed by a speech from two selected fathers, a video greeting, and a song performance from the students.

To end the event, the fathers were asked to come on stage and receive flowers and cards from their children, who also did the “Wai” as a symbol of respect.

It was an overall touching event, and we’d like to greet all dads and father figures a happy father’s day!
