D-PREP Welcomes the Lunar New Year With Exciting Dances and Games

To honor the beginning of the Lunar New Year, D-PREP International School held a festive celebration with performances, games, and an unforgettable dragon dance last January 20.

The event started in the afternoon with an opening speech from school leaders Mr. Bob and Ms. Maricar.

It was then followed by performances from early and primary school students donning adorable Chinese outfits.

After watching the endearing performances, the community was surprised by a talent show from a Grade 5 student Yuki, who played with Chinese instrument, Guzheng, and a Grade 8 Student, Ai, who presented a mesmerizing dance.

To make the day even more exciting, The primary and middle school students set up booths with various Chinese games.

The celebration culminated with a magical dragon and lion dance that captivated the crowd. We thank the D-PREP community for celebrating this event with us! Happy Chinese New Year!
